hmmm.. i jus loved the bak-changs my mom made! usually ther wuld be a bunch specially for me cos my mom knos my taste exactly and knos wat r the ingredients dat i dun lik in them!

i've been savin for the past wk and ther's only the last 2 left for me to devour today..

6 mths! our baby is nw 6 mths old!

as planned, i gt lia started on solids today! preparin her meal was quite a disaster! 1stly, the food's too little for blendin, i had to keep scoopin the food (plain porridge & avocado) into the middle of the bowl to put it to blend, (its a handheld blender) and after many tries, my hands were achin - cos the blender's quite heavy to hold !

lia wasnt cooperative @ all, she kept whining and whinning (been so *whiney these 2 days) and i had to stop to bf her 1st b4 continuing.

my kitchen top was a mess (din tke pic cos it's really messy), and i felt hot and sweaty!

in the end i gave up on the blender and turned to usin the pigeon bb food strainer to strain the porridge and avocado.. (luckily i had bot it durin the seiyu sale 2 wks bac)

here's the end prod, healthy homemade rice & avocado cereal! (i tink it looked yucky! :p)

ok, feedin time! (1st 2 pics: i had to early feed lia while preparin halfway cos she was gettin frustrated again..)

she took several spoonfuls (ard 20grams-yes, i weighed the food..) and she gobbled greedily for the 1st fews! even grabbed on to my spoon anxiously!

right, nt forgettin some water..

the leftovers. and dat went into my tummy.. i felt it tasted quite green.. and bland.. bt has gt a nice aftertaste.. :)

lets hope all's well and lia shld be able to try out a new taste in 5 days time! the end.. ; )
